Holiday customs

Well, folx we’ve got a bunch of cotton stored in customs right now…I’ve got a broker, and hopefully things will be cleared this week. Then we’ll have yarn. Piles and piles of the finest Peruvian veggie dyed organic cotton, fairly traded!

This is what it looks like:

kus_lilac.jpg    Soft and cuddly, in 9 gentle colors. I’ve very excited, can’t wait to see it on my doorstep.

Well what else is new? The tree is up, we’re ready for the holidays. Max is daily rattling off requests for Santa. It’s going to be a slim Christmas round here but will be lovely nonetheless.

Some new Persnickity Bags will be coming in in exciting colors, French Blue and Yellow. MMM can’t wait for them to get here. Rebecca has a super fun blog:  http://rebeccadanger.typepad.com check it out if you get a minute. Her bags are a knitter’s dream. She sent me a sample one, and I never leave home without it…I just hope she’ll start doing needle cases.

I haven’t been able to make it out to Fremont Market recently, and I miss it but I’m betting it’s super cold these days.

An awesome handmade bag vendor I’ve chatted with there, who makes bags perfect for knitting projects: Handmade in Seattle.

Anyway, look for Now I Know! Organic Cotton on Knit for Brains soon. Should you be interested in a pre-order, drop me a line!
